As I mentioned in my very first post, one of the reasons I started this Substack née web log was because I’d just finished a manuscript, and I wanted/needed a new project. What I didn’t elaborate on was that this manuscript was about to be sent out to various editors at various publishing houses and that this is a nerve-racking time period for an author.
