Books I read (and a few I abandoned) in 2023

I wanted to thank my new paid subscribers with a post and also, if I’m being honest, give myself something doable to write, since the kids’ winter break started on Monday; it’s been raining all week; and bonus: Matt is still working. This means that I get about an hour to myself in the mornings before the dog starts crying for exercise and the kids basically do the same, even though they might verbally tell me they’re happy to continue watching TV.
